
Tuna Melt
A toasted tuna and mayonnaise topping finished with a small amount of melted cheddar for a quick hot lunch.
Ingredients
- β’2 slices White bread, phosphate-additive-free
- β’70 g Tuna in spring water, drained
- β’1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- β’20 g Mature cheddar, grated
- β’To taste Freshly ground black pepper

Method
- 1Toast the bread until lightly golden.
- 2Mix the drained tuna with the mayonnaise and black pepper.
- 3Divide the tuna mixture between the toast slices.
- 4Sprinkle the grated cheddar over the top.
- 5Place under a hot grill for 2β3 minutes until the cheese has melted and lightly browned.
- 6Serve immediately.
